How to find twitter hashtags that are effective

Not sure what hashtags to use to connect with your audience? Here's a site that can help you with finding the right hashtags for twitter that can get your tweets in front of more people.

Ritetag.com
Enter a hashtag idea in the search bar and rite tag finds niche related tags for you to use. The tags are color coded based on how they are seen on twitter. If a hashtag has a red box by it that means the you should avoid using that hashtag because it has a high chance of getting lost in the crowd of other tweets because it's being overused. If the hashtag has a green box by it that hashtag has a good chance of getting you seen now when you use it. Hashtags with a blue box by it that means that the hashtag has a longer lifespan and you'll have a good chance of getting seen over time. Last one is a grey box by it indicating that the hashtag is being searched by few people and you shouldn't use it.

There are a few columns next to the hashtags that give you the stats of that specific tag. The 1st stat is the number of unique tweets per hour of that tag. 2nd is the number of re tweets per hour using that tag. 3rd is the exposure of that hashtag per hour. 4th is the number of images used with that hashtag. 5th is the number of tweets with links and 6th is the number of tweets with mentions using that tag.
